Care Ministry

Whether you find yourself in a season of joy or a season of hardship, we don’t want you to walk through it alone. Our Care Ministry is here to come alongside you and offer prayer, encouragement and resources specific to your situation.

Below, you will find several ways in which Care Ministry can support you.

DivorceCare

This group provides a safe and encouraging place to seek guidance and healing from the effects of separation or divorce. Some of the topics include the road to healing/finding help, and facing your anger, depression and loneliness. DivorceCare groups currently run once in the Spring and once in the Fall. The next DivorceCare group begins August 23rd from 6:15pm-8:45pm and runs for 13 weeks.

Child Care is available at no charge.

Registration includes the DivorceCare Workbook for $10. Contact divorcecare@fbcwimberley.com for more details.

Grief Share

GriefShare is a special support group for people grieving the death of a friend or family member. The sessions are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. Through video teachings, a workbook, and group discussion, you’ll learn helpful, practical information that will help you deal with your pain and grief. Each session includes a video featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. You’ll also gain access to valuable GriefShare resources. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
