KDO strives to minister to the whole child physically, socially, cognitively and spiritually. Our devoted teachers provide a loving and Christian environment that prepares children academically for Kindergarten. Children start their day with chapel, as this sets the tone for the day while openly exhibiting our love for Christ!
For the 2023-2024 school year, Kid’s Day Out is held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 8:30am-2:30pm for children ages 1 to 5 years old. Class placement is determined by the age as of September 1.
Children at KDO are always on the move! We strive to get kids active by offering a variety of opportunities for outdoor and indoor play, as well as a weekly Stretch-n-Grow class that specializes in high-quality and fun exercise experiences.
We kick off each morning with chapel where children learn about God's truth through Bible teachings, prayer, and song. Teachers also weave in a Biblical worldview in all of their daily lessons using Wee Learn.
Our teachers are trained to use and implement the Wee Learn curriculum that uses books, music, nature, and play to give a foundation of Christian values, while also preparing children academically for Kindergarten.
